We are looking for an experienced retail person to join our garden centre team at our Cheltenham store. Webbs is an award-winning garden centre retailer with four stores and a growing ecommerce business. Our stores are premium garden centres with exceptional indoor and outdoor horticulture departments, a range of quality gifts, homeware, furniture and clothing. Our high-quality restaurants offer freshly prepared, seasonally changing menus. We are an independent family business with a great team of people. We are looking for an experienced sales advisor to join the Cheltenham retail team. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, so you will have previous retail experience, be friendly and helpful, going out of your way to create that all-important first and last impression for customers completing their purchases. The successful candidate will have great customer service and sales skills. You will enjoy customer interactions and be able to build rapport quickly. You will be confident about approaching and engaging with customers with your naturally outgoing, positive personality. You will listen, ask questions and provide trusted, enthusiastic advice.
If you are customer focused with great organisational skills and relevant retail/till experience, then we would love to hear from you. This is a zero hours, permanent position. Working days will include weekdays, evenings and weekends. We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefits package including colleague discounts, life insurance, pension scheme, discretionary profit share bonus scheme and free parking. The role is based at our store in Cheltenham, and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
