Finance and Accounting Supervisor in Nuneaton

Job Description I am currently recruiting for an established, growing accountancy practice in Market Bosworth. The practice provides a full range of services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of varying sizes and complexity, covering accounts preparation, tax returns, VAT, payroll and compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their team and work closely with the Directors on the day to day running of the office. Work alongside the Directors to help manage the practice on a day to day basis. Prepare year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and partnership tax returns. Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT returns and MTD submissions. Support and supervise junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance and training. Liaise directly with clients, handling queries promptly and professionally and building long term relationships. Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent). Confident with tax compliance, including personal and corporate tax returns. Familiar with MTD requirements and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage). Proactive, organised and willing to take responsibility for the smooth running of the office. Fully qualified ACA / ACCA with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax. Good IT skills and experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Competitive salary in the region of £45,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
