Job Description WebbHR Consultancy is partnering with an established, growing accountancy practice in Anstey. The firm provides a full range of services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of varying sizes and complexity, covering accounts preparation, tax returns, VAT, payroll and compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their team on a part-time basis (three days per week), working closely with the Directors. Work alongside the Directors to help manage the practice on a day to day basis. Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and partnership tax returns. Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT returns and MTD submissions. Liaise directly with clients, handling queries promptly and professionally and building long-term relationships. This is a hands on role with genuine input into the practice, offering a strong work life balance. Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice. Confident with tax compliance, including personal and corporate tax returns. Familiar with MTD requirements and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage). Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and prioritising workload within a part-time schedule. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax, with good IT skills and experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office. Salary in the region of Β£26,000 per annum, for 3 days a week negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
