Salary: £45-50k doe + Company Car / Allowance + Great Benefits

Can you build relationships and identify opportunities to grow accounts? Do you have previous field-based account management experience within the transport or automotive sector? This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Account Manager who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and working within a fast-paced, growing organisation.

The Role

As Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing an existing customer portfolio while proactively generating new business opportunities across your region. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will play a key role in increasing market share, growing revenue, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an established customer base across the South of England
  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing arrangements
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
  • Provide ongoing product support and after-sales assistance where required
  • Maintain accurate sales records and activity reporting

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in a field-based sales or account management role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
  • A self-motivated and target-driven approach to work
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience within the transport, automotive, commercial vehicle, workshop equipment or related technical sectors
  • Experience selling technical products or services
