We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Door & Automatic Door Engineer to join a well-established specialist engineering business covering the North West, with occasional travel further afield.
What's on Offer?
- £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)
- Weekly or monthly pay available
- Fully expensed company van
- Enhanced pension scheme
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Annual performance bonus of up to £2,000
- Overtime paid at:
- Time and a half for call-outs
- Double time after midnight and weekends
- Call-out rota: 1 week in 6
- Ongoing training and industry certifications available
- Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
The Role
You'll carry out service, maintenance and repair work on:
- Industrial doors and shutters
- Automatic doors
- Gates and barriers
Responsibilities include:
- Planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Completing service reports
- Automation upgrades and retrofit work
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
The role is approximately:
- 70% Industrial Doors & Shutters
- 25% Automatic Doors
- 5% Gates & Barriers
About You
- Experience working on industrial doors, shutters, automatic doors, gates or barriers
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills
- Good understanding of automated systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
