Webber Hughes are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join a growing national business specialising in automatic and manual doors, gates, barriers, and shutters. Headquartered in Tameside, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled field-based engineer looking to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of automatic door technology.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business that continues to invest in the latest technologies and product development to remain ahead of the competition. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they provide first-class solutions across the automatic entrance and access control sector.

  • Installation of automatic door systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive repairs and emergency call-outs

The role involves both indoor and outdoor work across a wide range of commercial and industrial sites. Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Overtime expected: The ideal candidate will be technically capable, reliable, and motivated, with the ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a close-knit engineering team.

  • Has 2 years’ field-based experience within the automatic door industry
  • Can deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally

Overtime paid at time + half (minimum 10 hours per week).

Fully funded company vehicle.

Full training and ongoing support.
