Do you have previous export administration or sales administration experience? Have you coordinated deliveries with international customers, warehousing and couriers? Are you looking for a busy, full time role in a small team environment? This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business with an international footprint. It's a varied role combining customer service, logistics coordination and administration with national and international clients. As part of the Logistics & Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for customers over email, while supporting the Sales Managers and Purchasing Team to ensure orders are processed efficiently from receipt through to delivery and invoicing. You’ll play an important role in ensuring customers receive a first-class service, keeping them informed throughout the order process and responding promptly to enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer orders from initial entry through to final invoicing
- Coordinate shipments from national and international warehousing
- Updating delivery schedules, shipping information and expected arrival times
- Respond to customer enquiries via email
- Maintaining all related order and export documents
- Use Sage 200 to manage orders and retrieve customer information
- Work closely with internal departments and external logistics providers to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Occasional travel to work out of other site locations
- Previous experience in Export, Sales or Shipping Administration
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and friendly approach
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines while working as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Ideally experience using Sage 200
- Full UK driving licence
