- Are you looking for a role that could take your career from managing UK accounts to international travel and business development?
- Are you confident, quick to build relationships and able to spot opportunities to grow sales?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised industry leader specialising in innovative textiles for the fashion and apparel industry.
Initially, you'll be responsible for managing and developing key UK accounts, building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow business. As you develop within the role, there's the potential to progress into an international position, with the opportunity to take on country management responsibilities.
What will you be doing?
- Managing and developing relationships with an established UK customer base.
- Identifying new sales opportunities and maximising account spend.
- Promoting specialist products, advising customers on technical manufacturing processes and helping them select the right products for their needs.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional accessory products.
- Responding to enquiries, providing samples and quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
- Researching market trends and identifying potential new customers and business opportunities.
- Attending trade shows, customer meetings and product presentations.
- Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate customer records
- Working closely with internal teams to coordinate orders and deliver a positive customer experience.
- Managing after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any complaints.
- Working to demanding timescales and deadlines while maintaining high standards of service.
- Travelling to meet UK customers, with opportunities for international travel as your role develops.
What are we looking for?
You'll have previous experience in sales, account management, customer service or a similar customer-facing commercial role. Experience within a brand management environment would be particularly useful.
We're interested in people who have:
- A genuine interest in fashion, clothing, textiles or garment manufacturing.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to identify opportunities, develop accounts and generate new business.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach, with the drive to achieve results.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- The ambition to develop their skills and progress into a broader international role.
Previous experience within clothing, textiles or related manufacturing processes would be an advantage, but isn't essential. Full product training will be provided, so a strong sales or account management background and a genuine interest in the industry are key.
Benefits include competitive salary, company or access to pool car, annual bonus and enhanced holiday allowance, the opportunity to work with leading international clothing brands, the potential for national and international travel and long-term career progression.
Essential requirements
Applicants must hold a **full UK driving licence and a current British passport**, as international travel may be required.
If you're looking for a sales role that offers more than just account management, with the chance to develop your commercial skills, work with recognised brands and build an international career, we'd love to hear from you.
