We are seeking a Junior Revit/CAD Technician to join Webb Yates, based in either our London or Birmingham office.
Join an award-winning multidisciplinary engineering practice that prides itself on its close collaboration with architects to achieve intelligent, innovative buildings.
We are looking for a junior Revit/CAD Technician with a minimum of 1.5-2 years’ experience with some ability to use Revit and AutoCAD and be keen to develop skills whilst working on live projects. Candidates should either have or be currently working towards an HNC/D or Beng in Civil Engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for structural and civil engineering and will be expected to work alongside more senior engineering technicians and engineers. A willingness to learn and build a career is a must. Training support using Revit will be provided to assist progression and development of necessary skills.
Candidates should have appreciation of the process of producing viable engineering solutions, within the scope of a design brief. They should also have an appreciation of how materials and systems are specified and incorporated into building design and construction techniques.
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare technical engineering deliverables including Building Information Modelling and CAD drawing production, attend internal meetings, support the production of project deliverables and assist with the preparation of reports and specification.
