Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and refine application solutions for heating and air conditioning systems, in automotive / leisure applications.
  • Manage project delivery by coordinating workflows, prioritising tasks, and ensuring all customer timelines and milestones are consistently achieved including documentation, validation and final release.
  • Apply strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including battery technologies, to support system integration and overall vehicle performance.
  • Perform advanced thermal and HVAC calculations to accurately specify system requirements and recommend solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, confidently presenting system designs, explaining complex concepts, and responding to customer queries with clarity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Technically qualified professional with a background in automotive engineering (Bus, Truck, Off-Highway, or EV), supported by hands-on experience in practical engineering environments.
  • Strong expertise in thermal systems, including air conditioning, fuel-operated heaters, and electrical heating technologies, with additional knowledge of high-voltage (400–800V) and low-voltage (12/24V) systems.
  • Customer-focused and adaptable, with a willingness to travel to client sites to support meetings, installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical assistance.
  • Effective communicator and team player, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels while also capable of working independently and making informed project decisions.
  • Organised and responsible professional, proficient in MS Office tools, fluent in written and spoken English, and certified in refrigerant handling (F-Gas), ensuring compliance and high standards of work.
