We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tender and Proposal Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying, researching, and submitting tenders for technology and software-based projects across regions such as the US, UK, Singapore, and India. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills to draft high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Research & Identification:
- Monitor online portals, government platforms, and private sector listings to identify relevant tenders and Request for Proposals (RFPs) in technology and software domains.
- Analyze tender requirements, eligibility criteria, deadlines, and submission formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, and finance) to develop tender strategies.
- Evaluate feasibility and risks associated with tender opportunities.
- Draft compelling, customized, and compliant proposals in line with the specific requirements of each tender.
- Create detailed project plans, technical narratives, pricing structures, and compliance documents.
- Ensure the alignment of proposals with organizational capabilities and customer needs.
- Manage the end-to-end tender submission process, including uploading documents, adhering to deadlines, and handling clarifications.
- Maintain records of submissions and follow up on outcomes with tendering authorities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and competitor activities related to software/technology projects.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders, including tendering authorities and industry representatives, to gain insights and strengthen networks.
- Prepare regular reports on tender activities, outcomes, and lessons learned to improve the success rate of future submissions.
- Suggest process improvements for tender identification, proposal drafting, and submission workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in tender research, proposal drafting, or business development, preferably in the software/technology domain.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office Suite, proposal management software, and tender portals.
- Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with software development terminologies and project requirements is a plus.
