Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop efficient, secure, and scalable server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance and scalability, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Implement robust testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code quality and stability.
- Debug and resolve issues, troubleshoot application errors, and provide timely technical support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Node.js and related technologies, and suggest improvements to enhance the development process.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and technical decisions of the applications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects that showcase your skills.
- Proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem, including frameworks such as Express.js.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
