Web Spiders is looking for a Cloud Engineer (DevOps) with a solid foundation in software engineering within AWS & GCP environments, coupled with a robust understanding of Network Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a problem‑solving mindset to the table, complemented by excellent communication skills. This role entails implementing DevOps capabilities within cloud offerings, leveraging CI/CD toolsets and automation, and scripting for automation across Linux Bash, Perl, Python, including hands‑on experience with the AWS CLI. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hosting environment issues, collaborate with distributed teams, and proactively address technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement DevOps using CI/CD tools and automation (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Write automation scripts in Linux Bash, Perl, Python, and AWS CLI
- Define and implement DevOps processes for development, testing, release, and support
- Build web‑based automation tools
- Manage source control with Git, Bitbucket, and SVN
- Design, test, and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Troubleshoot hosting environment issues and collaborate with development teams
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues
- Manage cloud billing, budgets, and cost optimization
- Support presales activities by providing technical expertise and guidance for Tenders
Additional Requirements
- Good network infrastructure knowledge
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Security framework knowledge (OAuth, OWASP, etc.)
- Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes) a plus
