What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tutor, you will deliver high-quality English learning and wider skills-based programmes that help learners build knowledge, gain qualifications and achieve positive outcomes.
You will design, plan and deliver inclusive, well-sequenced learning, using initial and diagnostic assessments to tailor teaching to individual needs.
Assessing learners’ work, you will provide clear, developmental feedback to support progress, accreditation and progression into further learning or employment.
You will create a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting strong attendance, participation and achievement while embedding safeguarding, equality, diversity, inclusion and British Values throughout your teaching.
Additionally, you will:
- - Maintain accurate learner records, ILPs, progress reviews and achievement data
- - Follow up with learners following non-attendance
- - Capture and evaluate learner feedback and exit information
What We’re Looking For
To be considered as a Tutor, you will need:
- - A teaching qualification
- - A minimum of two years’ experience within the FE and/or training sector, delivering high-quality learning experiences, including accredited learning
- - Experience working to quality assurance and compliance requirements, especially with regard to Ofsted
- - Knowledge of FE and other employment intervention programmes, including their background and operation
- - Knowledge of the expectations of the Ofsted Inspection framework
- - Practical ICT knowledge and experience, including use of funder-specific CRM systems
- - A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
Fluency in Arabic, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application.
