Full time, 37.5 hours a week. Remote role with opportunity to work hybrid in Andover, Hampshire. The Macular Society is the charity determined to beat macular disease with world-class research, and the best advice and support. The role will support people affected by macular disease by ensuring high-quality, reliable and accessible digital experiences across the charity's website, donation journeys, email campaigns, chatbot and CRM-integrated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured manual and regression testing to validate end-to-end user journeys and monitor live environments to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on accessibility compliance, cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience.
  • Contribute to email and integration testing; collaborate with database and CRM teams to validate data flows, triggers and system integrations, particularly during major transformation projects.
  • Act as first-line digital support; document features, maintain test scripts and logs, track bugs through to resolution.
  • Support technical SEO checks and report on risks, defects and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Digital quality assurance testing experience.
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).
  • Experience testing complex user journeys and system integrations.
  • Email testing across clients and devices.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and tools.
  • Strong documentation, organisation and risk-based prioritisation skills.
  • Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.
