About the Role

We are seeking a Reporting & Analytics Specialist with strong analytical & technical skills and a forward-thinking mindset. Beyond managing traditional data stacks, you will be a key driver in integrating AI-driven workflows into our reporting ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing reporting systems across multiple platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, BigQuery, and Excel, while actively seeking ways to leverage AI to automate processes and uncover deeper predictive insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracking, Implementation & AI Innovation
    • Core setup: Set up, manage, and optimise Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
    • Advanced tracking: Implement solutions in GTM using custom JavaScript and troubleshoot using DevTools
    • AI integration: Research and implement AI-powered tools (such as LLMs for code generation or automated auditing) to streamline tracking deployments and debugging
    • Process evolution: Proactively identify opportunities to use AI to improve system processes, from automated data cleaning to predictive anomaly detection
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain Looker Studio dashboards and other reporting tools
    • Analyse data, uncover trends, and generate strategic recommendations
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal teams and clients
    • Assist in automating and improving reporting processes using bespoke reporting systems while exploring AI integrations to enhance data delivery
  • Collaboration & Compliance
    • Work closely with marketing teams to align reporting with business objectives
    • Integrate GA4 with Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insights, BigQuery, and Looker Studio
    • Ensure strict compliance with GDPR and data privacy regulations in all manual and AI-assisted workflows
    • Conduct website analytics audits and provide actionable insights for improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Strong knowledge of tracking implementation & debugging tools
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Regex, and Data Layer management
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g. LookerStudio)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, basic SQL)
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and data-driven decision-making
  • A strong interest in AI with a practical understanding of how tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) can be used to write scripts, automate repetitive tasks, or analyse data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with server-side tagging
