You will be an experienced and credible senior leader with a strong track record of improving teaching, curriculum quality and assessment through evidence-informed practice. With a clear moral purpose, you will champion inclusion, equity and high expectations for all pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged.   • A commitment to equity: the ability to remove barriers and secure high achievement for disadvantaged pupils, pupils with SEND, those known to children's social care, and high-ability pupils.
  • The ability to challenge and develop staff: a proven capacity to maintain high expectations, avoid unconscious lowering of ambition, and ensure learning effectively stretches and supports all pupils.
