We seek an experienced landscaper, flagger and fencer to join our Open Space Team, based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and working across our core locations in Warrington and Cheshire. The role is full‑time (40 hrs per week), includes participation in a 30‑mile radius callout rota, and requires safe teamwork across gardens, communal spaces, and external repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of groundwork and external repairs including flagging, fencing, concreting, drainage and garden clearances.
  • Work safely as part of a team across all external areas.
  • Operate machinery and drive a work vehicle.

Qualifications

  • Valid driving licence.
  • Recognised trade apprenticeship or qualification to City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent.
  • Experience in domestic or commercial building works.
  • Knowledge of general ground works and landscaping: flagging, fencing, drainage, concreting.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors and operate equipment and machinery.
  • Will be subject to a DBS check.
  • Declarations of any convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as required by the Trust’s Disclosure & Barring Policy.
