Weaver Vale Housing Trust seeks a driven, diligent, and friendly Head of Finance Business Partnering to join our Finance Business Partnering team.
What Will You Do?
- Provide direction, development, and management of the Finance Business Partner team (both revenue and capital expenditure).
- Lead in the provision of support to budget holders and stakeholders.
- Co‑ordinate the preparation and overall review of budgets, and input into the Business Plan.
- Oversee the production of monthly budget holder information and the Financial Performance report, including re‑forecasts.
- Maximise the capability and capacity of the Business Partnering team.
- Lead automation of reports, systems, and efficiencies within the Finance Service during periods of change.
Minimum Requirements For This Role
- CCAB qualification or equivalent and evidence of continued professional development.
- Strong IT system skills demonstrating experience of automation and creating efficiencies.
- Substantial accountancy experience within a highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience of leading a business partnering team and culture.
- Demonstrated experience of leading a team through change.
- Understanding of financial IT systems – e.g. Open Accounts.
- Thorough knowledge of financial accounting and financial control.
This role will require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
