Advanced Multi Skilled Trade Operative (Permanent) with Joinery capabilities
Hours: 40 hours per week + out of hours callout rota.
Salary: £37,464.05 per annum (Plus van, fuel card, uniform & tools provided).
Location: Gadbrook Park, Northwich. The role will be out working across the stock of Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s core locations: Warrington and Cheshire.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Advanced Multi‑Skilled Operative at Weaver Vale Housing Trust, you will carry out a range of planned, cyclical, void and responsive repair works. This includes plumbing, joinery, brickwork, roofing and plastering on tenanted and empty homes. You will be expected to work safely, following specific guidelines, assessing risk, and maintaining ongoing health and safety training.
Minimum Requirements- Completed a recognised trade apprenticeship to City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification standard.
- Working experience in domestic or commercial building works environment.
- Ability to complete a variety of trades to a high standard, including but not limited to joinery, plastering, tiling, plumbing and brick work.
- Willingness to undertake further qualifications in areas such as health and safety and general management.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- UK DBS check will be required.
