Job Overview:

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Technician to join the team at Altens, Aberdeen. The R&M Technician is a hands-on technical role responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of oil and gas field tools at Weatherford's Aberdeen facility. The position involves working with specialized equipment and following detailed technical procedures to prepare tools for field deployment.

Technical Duties

  • Perform complete maintenance cycle: receiving, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing field tools using technical manuals and procedures.

  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to determine dimensional requirements.

  • Repair machines, equipment, and structures using specialized tools and testing devices.
  • \\n
  • Complete all required documentation, work orders, and quality checks throughout the maintenance process.

  • Operate lifting equipment, forklifts, and other machinery for safe movement of equipment.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
