Weatherford has a great opportunity for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join the team in Altens, Aberdeen. The Planner/Scheduler will prepare production schedules and establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage new orders as per procedure.
- Workshop scheduling for load and capacity production plans.
- Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings.
- Raise work order, communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed.
- Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily.
- Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items.
- Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manager.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 1-3 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
- College degree in business or technical discipline.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
