Weatherford are looking for an experienced Materials Handler/ Picker & Packer to join the ISDT (Intervention Services & Drilling Tools) Team in Altens, Aberdeen. The Materials Handler / Picker & Packer plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient goods receiving and equipment control. You'll be responsible for accurately receiving and identifying assets, inventory, and customer-owned equipment within a timely manner, typically within 24-48 hours of arrival. Your attention to detail will be key in maintaining high service quality standards and adhering to company processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Support all business units in the goods receiving process and procedures.
- Picking materials for work orders, redeployment and for sending offshore.
- Ensure timely unloading of equipment and company assets.
- Establish clear identification, status, and traceability for proper equipment management.
- Maintain a high standard of service quality and understand process/product realization controls.
- Performing daily cycle counts of inventory.
Requirements:
- Experience in goods inwards and materials handling.
- Good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- It would be preferred if you have a forklift certificate for 5 Ton.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work under time constraints while meeting deadlines professionally.
- Oil and gas experience would be advantageous.
