Wellingborough (Hybrid, with up to 2 days working from home after probation) Salary £27,500 - £29,000 per annum. Build a career with real structure, training and progression. As a Racing Bank Associate, you’ll support racing clients by preparing accurate VAT submissions, handling client queries and keeping accounts running smoothly. This role sits within our Racing Bank team and offers full training from day one. Over time, there is scope to progress into a more senior Racing Bank Executive role as your confidence, knowledge and responsibility grow. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 8.30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm. During training, you’ll be based in our Wellingborough office. After completing probation, you’ll be able to work from home up to two days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting a portfolio of racing clients with their VAT requirements
  • Preparing accurate VAT returns and ensuring submissions meet HMRC deadlines
  • Processing invoices, VAT registrations and de‑registrations
  • Responding to client queries by phone and email, resolving issues or passing them on appropriately
  • Keeping client records up to date and working with care and attention to detail
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide a consistent, high‑quality service
