You will join the IT Service Desk team, which is an established partner to the business. You will provide exemplary service to our colleagues across the Weatherbys Banking Group, ensuring IT services run smoothly and effectively.

You will work fully onsite during training, after which you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week. Hours of work are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, according to a rota.

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to incidents and service requests via telephone, email, chat and self-service channels within the agreed timescales.
  • Maintain a robust asset register, ensuring security of sufficient stock levels of hardware for future demand.
  • Contribute to wider Technology and IT Services’ team initiatives & projects.
  • Prepare written documentation and communication including user guides.
  • Follow and execute standard operating procedures.

What You Will Bring:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar helpdesk role.
  • ITIL Foundation certificate (v3 or v4).
  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange and remote-control tools like TeamViewer.
  • Familiarity of modern technologies, including ITSM toolsets, MFA and Teams.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows OS and business applications including Office.
  • Foundational understanding of networking technologies.
  • Fault repair of printers, laptops.
