In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of a robust, compliant and people‑centred HR operations service across Weatherbys Banking Group. You’ll make sure our processes, systems and controls are fit for a growing, regulated business, while continuing to improve the experience colleagues have at every stage of their career. Working closely with the HR Director, you’ll also play a key role in shaping operational projects that support how we grow, modernise and look after our people.

Your focus will include:
- Owning HR operations from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Leading and developing the HR Coordinator and HR Data Analyst.
- Overseeing payroll, pay review cycles and reward governance with strong controls.
- Managing HR systems, data integrity and digital workflows.
- Ensuring compliance with FCA, PRA and SMCR requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of HR transformation and change projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience leading HR operations in a regulated or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR operational risk.
- Experience managing payroll, reward processes and governance frameworks.
- Confidence leading teams and developing capability.
- A practical, solutions‑focused approach with resilience and pace.
- CIPD Level 5 would be helpful, or equivalent experience.
