The role
You will join the Racing Service Desk, supporting new and existing Racing Bank clients and helping them get everything set up to manage their racing related finances. This is a varied, client facing role where you will build trusted relationships, answer day to day queries and introduce products and services that make horse ownership simpler. Clients will rely on you to guide them through how to register ownership, set up bank accounts and access payments and services that meet their needs.

The practicalities
You will work 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Based in our Wellingborough head office you will initially work fully onsite to ensure you are supportive during training after which you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.
What your day will look like
- Acting as the main point of contact for Racing Bank clients.
- Handling a wide range of client queries by phone and email.
- Building relationships to understand clients' current and future banking needs.
- Registering clients for our Racing Payment Service and completing trainer mandates.
- Working closely with colleagues across the Bank to resolve queries and share knowledge.
- Delivering against allocated sales targets while maintaining excellent client service.
What you will bring
- Experience in a client facing or customer service role, with proven experience handling phone calls and a confident, professional telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, even in a fast-paced environment.
- GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
