You’ll be part of a friendly team who look out for each other. Salary is up to £28,500 (FTE) per annum, depending on experience. The role After initial onsite training in Wellingborough (3–6 weeks, during standard hours), you’ll work remotely, providing advice and assistance to clients on debit card usage, fraud, online and mobile banking, and more. You’ll monitor card fraud systems, complete operational tasks, and ensure confidential correspondence is handled securely. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our clients safe and informed, always putting people first.
The practical bits We know we’ve said this before, but it is important to be aware that you need to be onsite for training in Wellingborough from 9am‑5.30pm Monday to Friday. How long this will be depends on how quickly you learn but is typically 3-6 weeks. The extended hours service is available to our clients from Monday to Friday between 6pm and 11pm, as well as on weekends and all bank holidays (including Christmas) between 08:30am and 5pm. You need to work 2-3 weekends per month, but we are flexible with which days of the week you can work and can offer you up to 29.5 hours per week. This is a 12‑month fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in an administrative role involving regular telephone contact with clients or customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with proficiency handling client queries or correspondence.
- Evidence of making well‑informed decisions independently, as well as working effectively within a team‑oriented environment.
- Confident use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications in a work setting.
- Understanding of banking processes and protocols (desirable but not essential).
