In this role, you’ll be part of the frontline HR team supporting colleagues across Weatherbys Banking Group. From the point of offer and throughout the colleague lifecycle, you’ll help deliver a practical, people‑first HR service that’s organised, responsive and trusted. Working closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and HR Operations, you’ll play a key role in keeping our people processes running smoothly as the Group continues to grow.
Why choose Weatherbys? Working for Weatherbys means being part of our centuries-long history whilst building a future filled with ambition. Over the last three decades, our Group has evolved to provide specialist services across Private Banking, Business Banking, Racing Banking and Arkle Finance – all as part of one Weatherbys family. Now, we’re looking to elevate the people‑first service we provide even further, as we help our clients achieve their financial goals for life. To do so, we’ll be investing heavily in our systems, our technology, and above all, in our people. Join us, driving innovative ideas, building the strongest of human connections, and developing finance that puts people first.
What sets this role apart? You’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues across the Banking Group. The role sits at the heart of the full colleague lifecycle, not a single process. You’ll work closely across Recruitment, Learning & Development and HR Operations. There’s variety day to day, with exposure to both people and systems. Hybrid working, with time based in our Wellingborough office.
Your focus will include:
- Managing the BankHR inbox, responding to queries and escalating where needed.
- Coordinating pre‑employment screening and keeping hiring managers informed.
- Supporting when needed on creating contracts, offer letters and variation letters across the colleague lifecycle.
- Maintaining accurate colleague records and HR system data.
- Supporting recruitment administration, including interview coordination.
- Helping organise inductions, HR events and learning activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in an HR administration or advisory role.
- Confidence using HR systems and managing accurate people data.
- Experience analysing and interpreting data.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle different priorities.
- Clear, confident communication with colleagues at all levels.
- A practical, service‑focused approach and attention to detail.

At Weatherbys Banking Group, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. We believe that different perspectives and lived experiences make us stronger, and we actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. As a proud Disability Confident Committed employer, we’re dedicated to creating an environment that’s accessible and inclusive for all. If you have a disability and meet the minimum criteria for the role, you’ll be guaranteed an interview.
