Weatherbys Business Bank is a strategically important and high-growth part of the Weatherbys Banking Group. Our approach is relationship-led, with a smaller number of clients and a stronger emphasis on service, trust and long-term partnerships. We focus on UK-based businesses with cash to deposit rather than borrowing needs. Working closely with our Private Banking and Racing Banking colleagues, we are building a distinctive offering that puts client outcomes, trust and long-term relationships at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow, we are looking for talented Relationship Managers at all levels of experience to join our expanding team.
What you’ll do:
- Build and manage a portfolio of business clients
- Spend time with clients, understand how their businesses operate and act on it
- Develop new relationships and bring in deposit balances
- Represent Weatherbys externally and build your network
- Work closely with our Private Bank, Racing Bank and Arkle Finance to connect clients where relevant
- Maintain strong standards across onboarding, KYC and governance
This role can be offered at different levels depending on experience. Those joining at a more experienced level will take on a larger portfolio and higher growth expectations.
Why Weatherbys?
You’ll join a team in a new part of Weatherbys Bank. This means:
- A visible role in a small team
- The opportunity to shape how the Business Bank grows
- Exposure across the wider Group, not just your own portfolio
- The chance to work with clients in a more considered, relationship-led way rather than high-volume, debt-led banking
Our Business Bank launched in 2025 and continues to evolve. It is a business that is building and there will be space for you to influence and contribute to its development.
What you’ll bring:
You might come from business, commercial or corporate banking. Or you might bring relationship management or business development experience from another sector. If you understand how businesses operate and can build trust, that matters more than a specific job title. What matters here is:
- A commercial mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships
- Credibility with business owners or decision makers
- A track record of developing relationships, whether in banking or a related environment
- An entrepreneurial approach
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Sound judgement and professionalism
- A keen awareness of risk
Putting people first: Our commitment to inclusion
At Weatherbys Banking Group, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. We believe that different perspectives and lived experiences make us stronger, and we actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. As a proud Disability Confident Committed employer, we’re dedicated to creating an environment that’s accessible and inclusive for all. If you have a disability and meet the minimum criteria for the role, you’ll be guaranteed an interview. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know – we are here to support you.
