We are offering multiple opportunities to join our Private Client Team in London as either a Private Banking Associate or a Private Banking Executive. You will work closely with our Private Bankers to support longâterm client relationships, delivering the personal, relationshipâled banking that defines Weatherbys. Your focus will include:
- Private Banking Associate
- Supporting Private Bankers with dayâtoâday client activity.
- Handling account openings, KYC and EDD checks.
- Preparing lending and investment administration.
- Managing payments, excesses and portfolio credit control.
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory standards.
- Supporting a Private Banker.
- Preparing credit applications for new lending propositions.
- Managing credit control and lending documentation with limited oversight.
- Running client meetings under supervision.
- Handling account opening and switching queries.
- Spotting and referring investment opportunities to our IWA team.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a clientâfacing banking role, with level guiding role fit.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure.
- A genuine interest in financial markets and client relationships.
