Full P&L ownership of key retail accounts across the UK, driving growth and ensuring the Wild brand is represented in the most compelling way while maximising sales opportunities and reducing single‑use plastic.
Responsibilities
- Business ownership: Make investment decisions, proactively pursue opportunities and set strategic direction for growth; unlock new categories.
- Relationship management: Manage key relationships with national retailers, create cross‑functional contacts and tailor national strategic plans.
- Strategic planning & data analytics: Develop growth strategies, analyse market trends, EPOS and competitor data, optimise performance, oversee promotional and pricing plans.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: Work with marketing, logistics and product teams to execute campaigns, guarantee product availability and support new product development.
- Forecasting & reporting: Manage sales forecasts, prepare monthly/quarterly reviews and track KPIs.
- Leadership & mentorship: Mentor junior team members and lead cross‑functional projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum two years of account management experience.
- Proven track record of managing and growing national accounts with major UK retailers such as Boots, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
- Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of retail P&L and category management.
- Experience in contract negotiation and managing complex customer relationships.
- Frequent use of data, forecasting systems and EPOS.
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of eco‑friendly products.
