We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups.
The Role: As a National Account Manager, you will have full P&L ownership of some of our biggest retail accounts whilst managing and growing relationships with retail partners across the UK. You will drive the growth of Wild in major retail channels, ensuring that our brand is represented in the Wildest way possible while maximising sales opportunities and reducing single-use plastic. You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to deliver sustainable growth. This is a mid-level role which reports into our Head of Retail (UK).
Some of your responsibilities:
- Business ownership: Full P&L ownership, making investment decisions, proactively chasing down opportunities and setting the strategic direction for growth of the business. You will unlock growth in new exciting categories.
- Relationship management: Management of key relationships with national retailers, creating cross-functional contacts to ensure we are set up for success. Tailoring national strategic plans, based on retailers’ priorities and strategy.
- Strategic Planning & Data Analytics: Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with business goals. Analyse market trends, EPOS, and competitor data to identify opportunities and optimise performance. Oversee promotional and pricing plans, ensuring these are aligned internally. Review return on investment, tweaking the plans where relevant.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, logistics, and product teams to execute successful campaigns, ensure product availability, and support new product development. Foresee potential roadblocks and risks through cross-functional teamwork, finding solutions to mitigate before they arise.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Manage sales forecasts, prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews, and track KPIs for performance analysis.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and lead cross-functional projects to drive overall brand success.
