About Us
Hi there! We’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’ve only just started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups. So, fancy coming along for the ride?
The Role
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive our tech operations, manage our development agency partners, and lead cross‐functional e‐commerce initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of technology, growth, CRO, and project delivery – responsible for ensuring our Shopify ecosystem functions smoothly while driving meaningful improvements across the entire customer funnel. You’ll work closely with data, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects that optimise our conversion funnels, customer experience, and retention strategies.
This is not a developer role, but it requires strong technical fluency, a deep understanding of e‐commerce, and experience in directing technical agencies. The ideal candidate has worked in a tech agency or DTC e‐commerce business, manages complex projects end‐to‐end, and uses data to deliver measurable performance improvements.
If you thrive on blending data‐driven insights with project management skills to deliver tangible, sustainable growth, this is the role for you! Reporting to the Head of Growth, you’ll have a hands‐on role in shaping our technical strategy while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Lead cross‐functional projects to optimise our customer funnel, from acquisition to retention, collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and design teams.
- Develop and execute technical growth experiments, managing the end‐to‐end process from ideation to analysis and iteration.
- Own project management processes, ensuring clear timelines, deliverables, and communication across teams, particularly our tech agency.
- Utilise data to drive decisions, working with analytics teams to interpret quantitative and qualitative insights that inform strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve the on‐site experience, including landing page optimisations and product enhancements.
- Lead weekly progress updates and manage stakeholder expectations by delivering insights, project updates, and performance metrics.
- Drive retention and lifetime value initiatives through deep customer understanding and data‐driven actions, improving CRO through AOV increases & user experience improvements.
- Foster a culture of experimentation by setting up methodologies for continuous testing, learning, and scaling.
What we need from you:
We welcome applications from candidates with diverse skills and experiences. If you’re passionate about our mission and have the relevant expertise to contribute to our team, please apply!
- 3+ years of experience in e‐commerce tech project management, preferably in a high‐growth, e‐commerce direct‐to‐consumer environment.
- Experience working with technical teams or agencies on improving the on‐site experience and driving technical growth initiatives.
- Experienced in using tools such as Shopify, Shopify Apps, Google Analytics, BI platforms, and project management software.
- Knowledgeable across subscription software – a bonus.
- Proven success in managing cross‐functional teams and projects, especially in fast‐paced, high‐growth settings.
- Experience leading experiments in conversion optimisation, funnel improvements, or customer retention is beneficial.
- Strong ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision‐making and optimise performance.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a track record of balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast‐growing start‐up.
What you’ll get from us:
- 25 days holidays + bank holidays + 9 extra remote working days
- Hybrid working, 3 days a week in our shiny new London office
- 4% Company Pension
- Mental well‐being support through Spill
- Private healthcare through Vitality
