The Customer TPM plays a critical role in delivering Tesco's Customer & Loyalty strategy, supporting initiatives that drive Customer Engagement, Personalisation, and growth of Clubcard, Rewards and Subscription propositions. This role would be focussed on supporting the Personalisation strategy in making sure our customers get relevant and rewarding engagement with Tesco. This is a new role that will lead complex, cross-functional programmes across Technology, Product, and Business teams, ensuring delivery of customer-centric outcomes at scale across Tesco Group (UK, ROI, and Central Europe) and support expanding scope and growth within Tesco's Customer space.
Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities:
- Supporting Tesco regions; Republic of Ireland, Czech, Slovakia & Hungary with delivery of Customer Program.
- Develop & maintain a new communication strategy for the Customer Programs.
- Designing and implementing new processes and best practices to support Programme delivery.
- Owning, managing & delivering requirements to support Customer & Loyalty deliverables.
- Leading the adoption and improving practices across Product, Programme and Engineering.
- Supporting the Product, Engineering, Data & Design teams to create and communicate long term roadmaps.
- Supporting and aligning with cross-functional (internal/external) teams like Customer Journey, UX, UI, App & backend teams from inception to delivery and till handover for BAU.
- Manage dependences across all technology job families & business partners to deliver transparency and visibility for key outcomes in the form of clear & regular communications.
- Able to foresee potential risks and issues; establish a process; facilitate discussions; and manage escalations.
- Able to understand a technical architecture to be able to foresee the impact on dependencies; delivery timelines and implementation plans.
- Have good knowledge of engineering best practices and practical infrastructure implementations to appreciate delivery challenges.
- Understand technology concepts; grasp new ones quickly and appreciate their implications on delivery.
- Proactively identify problems, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to quantify their impact and influence prioritisation to meet programme requirements.
- Build positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders to deliver complex rollouts or installations, or professional services.

Strong understanding of Technical Programme Management disciplines and managing within multiple frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams; programme, product, engineering, data & design.
- A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology.

- The ability to influence without authority.
- Management of annual Programme budgets. (Forecasting & Control).
