As Security Engagement Manager for Content Strategy & Development, you will lead the content development team within the Security Engagement and Culture function. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and delivering strategic, high-impact learning materials that support Tesco's cyber security objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure content aligns with business priorities, drives measurable behaviour change, and supports human risk reduction across the organisation.
While specific responsibilities may evolve with the needs of the business, your core accountabilities will include:
- Strategic Ownership of Security Content: Lead the design and delivery of the content strategy for security engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader Security Engagement and Culture roadmap.
- Content Development Leadership: Oversee the creation of digital and physical content (e.g. e-learning modules, videos, infographics, articles) that supports secure behaviours across all levels of the organisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Partner with cyber security SMEs, technical teams, and business units to translate complex security concepts into accessible, role-relevant learning materials.
- Quality Assurance & Governance: Ensure all content meets high standards of clarity, accuracy, and relevance. Implement editorial governance and maintain a visible content calendar.
- Performance Measurement & Impact Analysis: Define and track learning objectives, engagement metrics, and behavioural outcomes to assess the effectiveness of content and drive continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Explore and implement new formats, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the reach and impact of security content. Champion experimentation and learner feedback loops.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide strategic direction, coaching, and support to content developers. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
- Global Alignment & Support: Ensure content is scalable and adaptable across Tesco's global footprint, including subsidiaries and in-country teams.
- Hands-on Content Contribution: Develop content personally when required, particularly for high-priority initiatives or where specialist knowledge is needed to ensure clarity and impact.
Experience Required:
- Designing and delivering content strategies within a large organisation.
- Leading content teams and managing editorial workflows.
- Translating technical and behavioural security concepts into engaging learning experiences.
- Working with senior stakeholders to align content with strategic goals.
- Authoring and delivering training using tools such as Elucidat, Storyline 360, Camtasia, or similar.
- Measuring content effectiveness through data and learner feedback.
- Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of cyber security principles and human risk reduction.
- Familiarity with product/project management methodologies.
- Experience in the retail or technology sectors.
- Understanding of learning management systems and training compliance tracking.
