We're looking for a passionate and insightful Senior UX Designer with strong research skills to join a multidisciplinary team shaping intelligent products at scale. You'll play a key role in understanding user needs and behaviours, helping design and validate solutions that improve how colleagues interact with Data & AI tools across the business. Working across high‑impact projects, you’ll balance business objectives with user expectations, driving research that informs strategy and enhances real‑world product experiences. This role offers the opportunity to influence innovation at scale while collaborating closely with product, design, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting teams in defining UX vision and identifying research priorities
  • Leading UX design and research across multiple high-priority Data & AI initiatives
  • Conducting end‑to‑end research across the product lifecycle (discovery to validation) to inform UX design
  • Delivering clear insights and recommendations balancing user and business needs
  • Embedding user research into product development processes and ways of working
  • Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to drive user‑centred value
  • Building relationships across the business to gather and leverage existing insights
  • Promoting inclusive and accessible research practices
  • Facilitating workshops to align stakeholders on user needs and product direction
  • Sharing knowledge and improving UX research capability across the organisation
  • Mentoring and supporting team members to build research skills and empathy

Qualifications

  • Proven UX design and research impact, ideally within Data & AI products
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g. interviews, ethnography, surveys, usability testing)
  • Proven track record of influencing product strategy through research insights
  • Experience working in Agile environments and applying lean UX practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to present complex insights clearly to varied audiences
  • Experience using remote testing tools and online research platforms
  • Strong understanding of user‑centred design principles
  • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and external research partners
  • Aware of accessibility and inclusive research practices
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly AI and its impact on users
