The Business Agility team's mission is to enable Tesco to win together by building adaptable capabilities, demonstrating agility behaviours, implementing effective ways of working, and driving continuous excellence. As a Senior Business Agility Coach, you will design and deliver initiatives aimed at creating adaptable capabilities and agility behaviours, implementing effective ways of working and driving continuous excellence. The initiatives will focus on complex problem areas impacting multiple squads or verticals, requiring deep contextual understanding, data analysis, and the ability to implement transformative change while engaging and influencing stakeholders throughout the process. Leveraging your skills and expertise in various Agile & Lean practices, you will help the Business Agility team create and implement a blueprint for Tesco's Agile ways of working.
Accountabilities
- Analyse and understand context (people, process, product) to tailor impactful changes and solutions.
- Identify challenges based on insights, business priorities, and the Business Agility mission and strategy.
- Define optimal solutions using industry best practices and Tesco's context.
- Create and implement change initiatives suited to context and scale of impact.
- Develop and deliver targeted learning experiences based on audience knowledge.
- Facilitate ad-hoc sessions for large groups to promote collaboration and learning.
- Coach leaders on adopting an Agile mindset and practices.
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of Agile practices and initiatives, using data to inform decision‑making and adjustments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on initiatives and maximise success.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt Agile practices based on trends and needs.

Experience Required

- Proven ability to use metrics and data to guide decision‑making, and drive improvement initiatives.
- Experience in resolving conflicts, facilitating discussions to promote collaboration and problem‑solving.
- Familiarity with common tools (e.g., Aha, Jira) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Miro).
- Relevant Agile certifications (Certified Scrum Master, ICAgile Agile Coaching, ICAgile Team facilitation, Kanban Foundation).
