The Gemini Factuality team is dedicated to ensuring the factual accuracy and reliability of our next-generation AI models. As a Research Scientist on this team, you will play a critical role in measuring and enhancing the factuality of Gemini. You will collaborate extensively with numerous research and engineering teams to drive foundational improvements. You will also require a unique blend of theoretical research and applied science to solve one of the most critical issues in Artificial Intelligence (AI) today.
Responsibilities
- Drive research efforts to improve complex frontier Gemini capabilities, such as factuality.
- Review the latest literature to guide research and experimental directions.
- Curate and generate data to evaluate and improve Gemini capabilities.
- Design and conduct supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning experiments toimprove the performance of Gemini capabilities such as factuality.
- Collaborate with partners and product functions to deliver new model capabilities to production.
