Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in renewals, account management, sales, or equivalent customer-facing role.
  • Experience managing enterprise renewals or sales portfolios within the UK/I or Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH) (DACH) markets.
  • Experience partnering with legal/agreement management teams to facilitate agreement review, revision, and execution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud products.
  • Proven track record of meeting commercial growth targets, such as increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) or identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities through value-based selling.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate cross-functionally at C-level within prospect companies.
  • Excellent discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills working with external clients.

As a Renewals Sales Specialist, you will be accountable for customer engagement and business growth through the annual renewal process. You will work closely with your extended Workspace team, leverage data to understand our customer portfolio, ensure that customers have an exceptional renewal experience, and ultimately be held accountable to workspace engagement metrics. You will be a key contributor to the success of workspace and its metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the Workspace Expansion Specialist account team to preserve and improve customer agreements and relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of annual customer renewals, ensuring on-time customer engagement, and high year-over-year renewal rates.
  • Grow the business by positioning organic growth, discount reduction, auto-renewals, and multi-year agreements to grow the business.
  • Verify agreements, data integrity of all quotes, review terms, and conditions to ensure renewal subscriptions are in line with company guidelines and policy.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer growth.
  • Be accountable for accurate opportunity and forecast data for all agreements.
