Programme Delivery Consultant (Project Manager/PMO) – responsible for delivering project management and PMO expertise to Altus Consulting clients in the Financial Services industry, particularly the Insurance sector. Base locations: London, Bath, Leeds. Mobility up to 100%. Career level: Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage client accounts where associates are deployed.
- Undertake regular service reviews and production of dashboards to the client.
- Manage and support deployed associates, assuring a high-quality delivery to the Client.
- Develop Programme Delivery strategy, proposition and service offerings through innovating and supporting the delivery of strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the APEX delivery methodology and artefacts.
- Contribute to marketing activity generating thought leadership and propositional collateral.
- Identify business development opportunities through existing accounts, consulting engagements and own network.
- Shape proposals and bids based upon Altus’s Programme Delivery Services and Consulting industry models/toolkit.
- Produce thought leadership and appear in the press.
Qualifications
- Proven and hands-on experience of delivering change in Financial Service – with a focus on Insurance, specifically in Life, Pensions and Retirement areas.
- A solid understanding of and track-record in the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in change delivery methodology and practice.
- Experience and solid understanding of Financial Services business & IT operations and change delivery.
- Extremely thorough, inquisitive and hard-working behaviours.
- Excellent people and communication skills, able to confidently converse at Board level, with a track record of building strong business relationships.
- Innovative and with a strong ability to articulate ideas, bringing them to life visually and presenting them formally to clients.
- Understanding of IT fundamentals and different categories of FS systems.
- Genuine passion and enthusiasm to make a difference for Altus, and to grow and develop Programme Delivery.
- A history of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- A willingness to travel and undertake varying roles.
