As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As an EHS Operations Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to advocate safety and sustainability on a regional scale. You'll lead and manage cross-functional teams and projects to improve EHS practices across various stakeholder teams at Google, impacting the well-being of our employees. This role combines strategic leadership, collaboration and industry expertise, making it a perfect fit for someone passionate about making a real difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the regional portfolio of EHS initiatives and programs for all local operations and regional initiatives.
  • Manage a team of EHS PgMs to ensure the effective and efficient execution of Google EHS programs and projects across the region.
  • Support Program Managers in incident investigations and track corrective or preventive actions to closure.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program initiatives, ensuring alignment with Google's overall EHS outlook and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and foster a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Lead strategic EHS initiatives and actively participate in strategic planning at the organisational level, contributing to the long-term EHS strategy and drive strategic alignment and collaboration with all EHS verticals across the region.
