Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in construction program management.
  • Experience with commercial agreement management and procurement.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, with an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
  • Experience working with data center equipment/environments (including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems), with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large, site-wide data center construction and delivery organisation, managing scopes related to construction projects or capital improvement projects.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the development of detailed designs, managing construction (delivery, cost, quality and EHS), commissioning, close-out and hand-off to the operations team. Ensure all customer requirements are being met.
  • Establish and maintain various delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors.
  • Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc.
  • Research and implement construction means and methods of data center equipment and facilities. Carry design concepts into mass production and integrate into facilities.
