The Post Workflow Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing post-production-based workflows in a custom-built workflow orchestrator. The ideal candidate will also help support the platform and help grow it by working with both clients and engineering resources.
Responsibilities:
- Based on client requests, determine best method to design workflows and create them on the platform.
- Work with business units on best practices for workflows.
- Test and validate new workflows before releasing to end users.
- Collaborate with Workflow Architect on new features and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with L3 team on infrastructure requirements.
- Assist with the Development QA process during the monthly testing phase.
- Provide L2/L3 support for issues related to automated workflows.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of overall experience in post-production workflow and/or automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, video production, or a related field.
- Experience in workflow orchestration tools, such as Telestream Vantage.
- Experience with asset management systems (Production Asset Management and Media Asset Management), such as Avid Interplay.
- Experience with post-production tools, such as Avid and Adobe.
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment space, including but not limited to film and broadcast.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell.
- Ability to work remotely effectively with others across geographical locations.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and schedules.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adept at building relationships with all technical and operational areas across NBCU.
