Job description
We are seeking an experienced professional to Lead IT Outsourcing Transition and Transformation programmes in the UK and work with our clients to realise strategic goals as part of a successful digital Transformation. You will support companies across industries in realising their Application and Infrastructure outsourcing. You will not only look after our customers and present the results – you will also be involved in the conception of innovative transition and transformation solutions as part of the solutioning phase. In your leadership role, you will help your highly motivated team to successfully complete projects and surpass themselves. Together, you actively drive the technology trends of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the Transition solutioning phase, you will not only design tailor-made solutions for our customers and thus optimise their IT transformation process. You will also prepare the written format of your solution, present your solution and support contract negotiations.
  • Lead your team to success. You will independently lead an interdisciplinary project team with the participation of offshore and nearshore colleagues and ensure that the projects run smoothly. This includes the development of relationships with key client stakeholders to facilitate transition and the management of communications between Accenture, client and other transition teams.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: You will track the progress of the transition and ensure compliance with governance standards, regular updates to stakeholders and governance bodies.

Qualification
Necessary Knowledge / Skills

  • Experience of managing Application and/or Infrastructure Outsourcing transitions or the Delivery of Change or Transformation Projects demonstrated through past roles and achievements.
  • Strong understanding of applications and /or infrastructure outsourcing operations or arrangements and the process for the delivery of AO/IO services.
  • Project planning and management skills, including estimating and cost management, demonstrated through past roles and achievements.
  • Strong communication, in both written and verbal form, presentation and people management skills, demonstrated through past roles and achievements.
  • Understanding of working in complex situations which may have significant scope and risk ambiguity and geographical diversity.
