You are a research-minded threat intelligence professional with experience of analysing and tracking threat campaigns, adversary tooling and infrastructure. You stay abreast of the latest threats, recognize the value of intelligence, and believe it should drive operations. You are a devoted team member who is always willing to lend a hand, mentor a colleague, or increase our global team’s awareness by sharing your knowledge and approaches with others. Qualification
As a Threat Intelligence Specialist, you will report to the ACI EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Research Lead. You will be responsible for conducting technical and operational threat intelligence research, both independently and as part of a wider team, to support our client’s intelligence requirements. You will identify emerging threats, techniques and trends, the means of protecting or defending against them, and articulate these in a range of formats to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent and collaborative production of intelligence alerts and intelligence research products.
- Production of ad-hoc cyber threat intelligence alerts and reports aimed at meeting client requirements.
- Deep dive analysis of threats facing Accenture clients.
- Support continuous improvement in team delivery, for example by improving delivery methodologies, developing new tools, and automating workflows.
- Supporting the ACI Consulting and ACI Managed Services teams, Readiness and Testing, Cyber Response and Recovery, and Security Operations/MxDR functions with up-to-date technical intelligence, detection logic and situational awareness on current and emerging threats.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably relating to politics, intelligence, or information security. Minimum 3 years of work experience involving project management, client engagement, and threat intelligence.
Required Skills
- Proficient in using threat intelligence, data analysis or technical analysis tools and platforms.
- Proficient in tracking adversary infrastructure, intrusions, and malware campaign activity.
- Proficient in MITRE ATT&CK Framework in intelligence reporting.
- Experience communicating current and emerging threats, key trends, and potential impact.
- Experience conducting focused research as part of a team and independently.
- Experience delivering threat intelligence to a range of customer needs.
Desired Skills
- Experience conducting Attack Surface Assessment or Dark Web research.
- Experience with Intelligence Led Penetration Testing (ILPT) frameworks such as CREST STAR TI, CBEST, GBEST, TIBER-EU, CORIE, iCAST or AASE.
- Exposure to malware reverse engineering, network intrusion analysis, host intrusion analysis, log analysis, vulnerability research or digital forensics.
- Understanding of geopolitics and awareness of how it can shape hostile cyber activity.
- Ability to hold or maintain national security clearance.
