Accenture is looking to recruit a Data Migration Manager within our SAP Integrated Platform Team (IPT) in Europe. With a specialist focus on S/4HANA Data Migration skills, applied to any industry, this role will work as leading data migration in medium to complex S/4HANA implementations, leading SAP MDG implementations, acting as an advisor to support our client account and project teams throughout the lifecycle from sales and business development, through consulting and advisory engagements, to the design and delivery of solutions and services.

The successful candidate will bring deep technology expertise and industry domain knowledge to address client challenges. The role also requires a broad knowledge of how to architect solutions around master data that leverages the new SAP digital platform to implement solutions for medium to large enterprises.

The role:

  • Advise clients on their data migration, data quality, data integration and data architecture challenges, helping them to develop business strategies for data in readiness for digital transformation journeys.
  • Support clients with the master data elements of their SAP S/4HANA migration journeys, helping them to formulate plans for the migration of data from classic ECC and non-SAP platforms to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Assist clients with the evolution of their data governance models, ensuring the relevant business accountabilities are in place and appropriate technologies such as SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, other data tools and AI / Machine Learning innovation are brought to bear to simplify business data processes.
  • Play a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that benefits from exploitation of some of Accenture’s predefined assets.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of solutions, ensuring that a value based functional business focus is retained in client transformation journeys.
  • Define and carve out solutions to solve client business problems that take advantage of the latest SAP and Accenture Cloud Solutions to enable a digitally driven client business model.
  • Assist in sales origination, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.

Qualification Required Capabilities:

  • One or more previous experiences in leading SAP Data Migration activities as a Data Migration Lead; knowledge on extract/transform/load (ETL) tools, such as SAP Data Services or Syniti ADM are nice to have.
  • Strong functional SAP data management skills, prior experience of assisting clients with the definition of master data and transactional data models.
  • Experience of both advising clients on the data elements of their S/4HANA roadmaps and supporting the implementation of S/4HANA and associated data migration activities.
  • Proven ability of supporting clients with data quality and architecture challenges, working with the client to define data architecture recommendations, corrective actions and data quality solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in applying AI in data migration is a plus.
  • Understand and translate client requirements into solution definition, observing data management best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups.
  • Educated to a bachelor’s degree level.
