We help them buy and sell financial products on global exchanges, raise funding, and manage risk. BUSINESS SEGMENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW STS trading is part of the Global Exotics and Structured Products trading team, which trades, prices, and risk‑manages a wide array of non‑vanilla (exotic) cross‑asset strategies and payoffs. The desk handles sizable principal exposure across multiple markets (Equities, Rates, FX, Commodities, and Credit) in both volatility and one‑delta space. We collaborate closely with structuring and sales teams worldwide to create innovative structures and strategies, while also managing risks that cannot be easily hedged.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily risk management of the Global STS trading book (executing hedges and developing risk‑management strategies and utilities).
  • Price derivatives on cross‑asset systematic trading strategies (STS).
  • Develop a cross‑function, cross‑asset, and cross‑regional network within the firm.
  • Learn how to trade a broad and complex set of products, including the models, markets, and operational and legal framework required.
  • Work with other traders and the strategy team to develop new models and products, or enhance existing ones.
  • Collaborate with sales and strategy to expand overall franchise business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent academic background in a highly quantitative subject (Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Finance/Financial Economics, or Computing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest and knowledge in financial markets and products (derivatives knowledge is a plus).
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task.
  • Previous programming experience is a plus.
