Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Chief AGI Scientist and Post AGI Research team to conceptualise, write, and edit high-impact thought leadership, speeches, and internal and external communications focused on socio-technical research.
- Provide comprehensive communications support for high-visibility executive speaking engagements and internal events, leading content preparation, presentation development, and logistics.
- Develop and execute social media strategies for executive channels, managing content creation, analysing metrics, and optimising for maximum engagement.
- Serve as the key media contact for the Post AGI team, managing journalist relationships, coordinating interviews, and defining communication plans based on public perception.
- Stay deeply informed on AI industry trends and collaborate with internal departments to ensure messaging aligns with Google DeepMind's mission and business objectives.
