Accenture Song accelerates growth and value for our clients through sustained customer relevance. Our capabilities span ideation to execution: growth, product and experience design; technology and experience platforms; creative, media and marketing strategy; and campaign, content and channel orchestration. With strong client relationships and deep industry expertise, we help our clients operate at the speed of life through the unlimited potential of imagination, technology and intelligence.
We are entering an exciting era of agentic commerce - where AI agents, autonomous search, and intelligent consumer experiences are beginning to reshape how people discover, evaluate, and buy. We are looking for commerce specialists who are energised by this shift and want to be at the forefront of defining what it means for our clients, bringing expertise in ecommerce transformation and commerce operations, with exposure to digital commerce, go-to-market strategies, direct-to-customers growth, channel strategy or commerce operating model design.
A working understanding of the agentic commerce landscape and hands‑on curiosity with AI tooling are central to this role. You are a problem solver with strong delivery experience in industry or consulting, comfortable working in fast‑paced agile environments, facilitating workshops and contributing to business recommendations that help our clients navigate the shift to agentic commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the shaping and delivery of eCommerce and digital commerce transformation programmes by supporting current state assessments, target state design and go‑live, with commercial outcomes front and centre throughout.
- Build an understanding of client challenges and contribute to commercially grounded solutions that advance their eCommerce strategy, operations and technology capabilities.
- Engage confidently with client stakeholders by supporting workshops, contributing to strategic discussions and helping translate technology choices into clear commercial recommendations.
- Apply knowledge of commerce technology across areas such as commerce platforms, search and merchandising or content and data systems to help clients make well‑informed, platform‑agnostic decisions.
- Adopt and apply AI tooling as a core part of day‑to‑day working - including LLMs, AI‑assisted development tools, and emerging agentic platforms - to enhance the quality and pace of delivery.
- Show a willingness to get hands‑on with emerging tools and proof of concepts, whether that’s exploring new agentic platforms, experimenting with AI‑assisted development tools, or helping bring a client idea to life quickly in a workshop setting.
- Contribute points of view, frameworks and client‑ready assets that advance our clients' thinking and Accenture Song's position in the agentic commerce market.
Qualification
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience, either in a consulting role with significant eCommerce exposure, or in an industry commerce role (e.g. eCommerce, trading, merchandising, commerce operations).
- Good understanding of eCommerce strategy and digital commerce - including go‑to‑market approaches and platform selection.
- Working knowledge of commerce operations - how eCommerce businesses run day‑to‑day, including trading, fulfilment, merchandising and the relationship between technology and operational performance.
- Familiarity with commerce technology landscape, including at least one of: commerce platforms, search and merchandising, PIM, CRM, CDP or MarTech.
- Demonstrable interest in agentic commerce and AI through strategic work, POCs, independent learning, or a developed point of view on how AI agents and agentic search will reshape commerce.
- Active day‑to‑day use of AI tooling (including LLMs and emerging agentic platforms) as part of how you already work, not just something you're curious about.
- Good communications skills - able to present ideas clearly to clients and contribute to narratives that land with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with the emerging agentic commerce landscape, with knowledge around Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), AI‑native search, LLM‑powered applications and brand or consumer‑facing agents.
- Some exposure to AI and agentic platforms - such as Google Gemini, OpenAI Agent SDK, LangGraph, n8n, Microsoft Agent Foundry or AWS Bedrock.
- Familiarity with one or more areas of the commerce technology ecosystem - you won't have worked across all of these, but familiarity with at least one will be an advantage: commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, Shopify, BigCommerce), search and merchandising (Algolia, Bloomreach, Elasticsearch), or PIM and content management (Salsify, Akeneo, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager).
